Description

An excursion that will take us to the ‘A Campo abierto’ farm where you will experience an unimaginable day in the freedom of the Andalusian countryside, enjoying a unique visit.

Combining live explanations and music; riders and cowboys will show you one of the best kept secrets of the Andalusian culture, the breeding and selection of the fighting bull and the taming of the Andalusian horses. You will enjoy cowboy and classical dressage exhibitions in the middle of nature.

At the end of the visit we share a glass of sherry from Bodegas Alvaro Domecq, and then continue our tour to Vejer dela Frontera, a historic town surrounded by beautiful scenery, which has been awarded on several occasions with the prize of ‘City of Historical and Artistic Interest’ for being one of the most beautiful cities in Spain.

Vejer has steep streets winding between whitewashed houses with geranium-filled balconies and hidden courtyards.

During a stroll, you will pass the Plaza de España, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful ‘plazas’ in all of Spain. In the centre of the square is an ancient tiled fountain with the traditional ceramic frogs spraying water in the centre.

The church ‘El Divino Salvador’ is like so many churches, built on the ruins of an ancient mosque. The house of the Count of Tamaron is an old building which is now the cultural centre. The city walls and arches of the city are preserved intact and you can still pass through several of them, such as the ‘Arch of the Saviour’.
